Thanksgiving 08

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did. We started the day off by going to the Doyle's :) Yes we had to eat two turkey dinners but it was worth it to be able to be with our families. Unfortunately we did not have Maddie this year for Thanksgiving. After the Doyle's we went to the Fiorucci's and had a great time. I had myself some wine that made me forget what time it was. Not so bad to finish off the night.

Joey was having a lot of fun playing with the bumble ball at Grammy and Grandpa's.

I think this is a good picture of Mark.

Turkeys for Thanksgiving

This evening I made Turkey cupcakes for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I saw the idea when I was clipping coupons a few weeks ago. Sofia and Joey did not want to leave them alone and kept taking their beaks and feathers.

Emily's Football Cheerleading Banquet 11/20/08

Emily had her Football Cheerleading Banquet this past Thursday, November 20th, 2008. She cheered for Varsity Football this past Fall, is cheering for Varsity Basketball this

winter and is on the school's Competitive Cheerleading Squad as well. Unfortunately I was only able to get a few pictures at the banquet since I got there so late because Mark had to work late. Here Emily is with two of her good friends and her Coach.

Emily was a Junior coach this year for the 6th Grade cheerleaders.

SOFIA GOT STITCHES!!

Sofia with her super cool pink camo bandaid from the hospital. She had to get 3 stitches after tripping into her Princess riding toy. It happened around 5 pm Saturday 11/15 and of course a night that Mark and I were supposed to be going to our dear friends Victor and Annette's house. I was getting ready and Sofia was playing with Emily in the living room when I heard her crying ... Emily picked her up and I saw a large amount of blood over her eyelid. We cleaned her up and accessed the area and was pondering back and forth on if it needed professional attention. So at 6 pm we arrived at Carroll Hospital Center... ( because I refuse to go to Hanover General.... quack association) She was so perfect with barely a cry when getting her injection... or sutures. We were such proud parents as our beautiful 3 year old was a super star patient and got a ton of stickers and a homemade blanket from the nurses. She wasn't even pappoosed! She asked for pizza and a coke when we left... so we went to Ledo's! The second shot is Sofia after her bath Sunday morning.

Closer shot ...

After she got her new clean Dora bandaid....

Joey had to have one too :)

Birthday Party Fun

Alex and I

This is from our best friends Shannan and Rob's 3 year olds birthday party last weekend. We all had a blast. Millie loves the Blue Man Group so the party was original and a ton of fun for all of us. The kids made there own glow in the dark T-shirts for the dance party under the black lights. Alex is in the pile of leaves the kids were piling in front of the slide

Sofia showing off her shirt she made and giving us one of her classic silly faces.
